Who we are

Rate My Tray (ratemytray.com and app.ratemytray.com) is a community app for rating hotel room service, operated from Queensland, Australia.

What we collect

• Email address — only if you choose to join our updates list.
• Verdicts and reviews — the ratings and text you post are public and anonymous; we don't link them to your name or email.
• Basic technical data — our hosting and database providers log standard technical information (like IP addresses) to run and secure the service, as almost all websites do.

How we use it

Emails are used to send occasional product updates — nothing else. Verdicts and reviews are displayed in the app as community data. We don't sell personal information.

Who helps us run this

We use trusted providers to operate the service: Formspree (email form), Netlify (hosting), Supabase (database), and Google Maps (hotel search). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Your choices

Want your email removed from our list, or a review you posted taken down? Email us and we'll sort it: hello@ratemytray.com.
